The Lebanon County Board of Commissioners approved two new contracts for the county’s Medical Assistance Transportation Program and a retroactive subcontractor agreement for translation services.
Christine Hartman, director of Lebanon County Community Action Partnership, told the board she was seeking approval for one new personal driver contract (named in the record as Darina Vargas Martinez) and one transportation contract identified as "Kicks Lillian Transport" to operate through June 30, 2025. Hartman said the county is seeing growing demand for wheelchair transports and that the subcontractor rates include a $35 hourly charge for wheelchair runs.
Hartman also asked the board to approve a subcontract translator contract with Lillian Morales paid through the Community Service Block Grant. The record shows the Morales contract runs from July 1, 2024, to Dec. 31, 2024; Hartman described the contract as overlooked when the fiscal year rolled over and requested retroactive approval. Both the transportation contracts and the Morales subcontract were approved by motion and second.
Commissioners recorded no further conditions or additional funding requests for these contracts during the meeting.
