The Lebanon County Board of Commissioners on an apparent unanimous vote approved three provider contract amendments to increase units for county mental health and early intervention services and authorized an updated signatory for legacy burial accounts.
Holly Leahy, administrator for Lebanon County Mental Health Intellectual Disabilities and Early Intervention Programs, told the board the three contract amendments — one for mental health and two for early intervention — added units to serve more individuals. "The total of the contract changes is $21,921. That will be covered through our current allocations and budget. Therefore, we are not requesting any additional county tax dollars to cover these expenditures," Leahy said.
Leahy also asked the board to approve an updated signatory authorization so Susan Declans, identified in the record as the director of fiscal operations for Lebanon County MH/IDEI, could continue to work with Wells Fargo on behalf of pre-K burial accounts opened in the 1980s for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The administration said funds are being transferred to current representative payees so those individuals’ funds can be managed and used when needed. A motion to approve the signatory authorization passed with no recorded opposition.
Commissioners did not request additional county general fund support for the contract amendments and were not asked to approve new recurring budget authority. The record shows the board moved and seconded both items and approved them during the meeting.
The board concluded the agenda items with no additional public discussion on the topics.
