Board authorizes district agents for state-funded projects and accepts $10,000 donation for Woodinville High

The Northshore School District Board of Directors on Jan. 27 approved Resolution 896, authorizing specific district personnel to sign required state documents for projects receiving state financial assistance, and accepted a $10,000 donation from the Falcon Gridiron Club to Woodinville High School for coach stipends.

Superintendent Michael Tully told the board that the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction requires districts to provide a list of personnel authorized to sign documents tied to state-funded design, construction, or closeout work. The recommended resolution, attached to the agenda as administrative procedure 09/1946p, lists the school board president, the superintendent, the deputy superintendent, the chief financial officer, the executive director of support services, and the director of capital projects as the district's authorized agents for the 2024–25 school year.

The board moved and seconded approval of Resolution 896 and approved it by vote during the action-item portion of the meeting.

Also on the consent/action calendar, the board accepted a $10,000 donation from the Falcon Gridiron Club to Woodinville High School. Superintendent Tully said the funds will go toward stipends for four coaches for the 2024–25 school year; the board moved and seconded the donation and approved it.
