Enterprise City Board approves 2024-25 salary updates, purchases, access control and personnel items

The Enterprise City Board of Education voted to approve a set of consent and routine business items at its Jan. 28 meeting, including updates to the district's 2024–25 salary schedule, equipment and vehicle purchases, a contract exhibit with Kelley Education and personnel actions.
Superintendent Dr. Thomas recommended the updates to the 2024–25 salary schedule, which included two new pages adding postseason athletic incentives. The board approved his recommendation by voice vote.
The board also approved multiple vendor quotes presented as consent items: a mobile pass-through refrigerator fixture for Cottonville Junior High (lowest quote including delivery); a Huddle Box from Big Eye Brands to serve as an outdoor classroom and sideline unit with speakers and monitors; CTE (career-technical education) purchases that include new engineering-lab computers and replacement greenhouses; a Miller Alarm & Electronics quote to add access control at several lunchroom/employee entrances and the service center; and a SolarWinds license renewal purchased through CDW•G.
Five vehicle purchases from Stivers Ford Lincoln — one for the athletic director, three for maintenance and one for transportation — were approved as a single consent item. The superintendent noted an additional $2-per-mile delivery fee that is not reflected on the quotes in the packet.
The board approved a Pricing Exhibit A agreement with Kelley Education and a bundled consent item covering in-state and out-of-state field trip requests and spring sports schedules. The personnel action list covering transfers, employment and supplements was approved in a separate personnel motion.
All items were presented as recommendations by the superintendent and were approved after motions and seconding; votes were taken by the board raising hands or by general assent for consent items. The meeting record shows no roll-call tallies or named vote counts in the transcript; each motion was recorded as carried.
