Planning and Zoning Commission takes action on three final plats; staff authorized to finalize corrections

The Lewisville Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6-0 on motions tied to three final plats at its meeting on Tuesday evening, taking formal action to disapprove two plats because of listed deficiencies while delegating authority to staff to accept and approve the plats once required corrections are made; the commission also carried a third plat motion by the same margin.

The three items were the final plat for GTM Addition Lot 6 Block A (approximately 2.005 acres at 1102 and 1110 E. State Highway 121 Business), the final plat for Mystic Multifamily Lot 1 (about 7.667 acres northwest of the Lady Betty Drive and Kings Court Drive intersection), and the final plat of Quail Crest Addition Lot 2 R Block H (about 1.035 acres on the west side of Edmonds Lane south of West Purnell Street).
