City engineering to review additional speed indicator sign on James Street after resident complaints

"The speed indicator sign that's there was put there at a request. We don't just put speed indicator signs up anywhere," Ellis said, urging councilors to identify a precise location they want the city to evaluate.
Councilor Brooks suggested that fencing at known cut-throughs and additional signage could reduce foot traffic and trash in adjacent areas; councilors agreed engineering should review candidate locations and feasibility. The subcommittee voted to place the order on file and directed engineering staff to evaluate locations for an additional speed indicator sign.
