BID staff reported that a January strategic‑plan survey sent to downtown property owners and business owners has yielded 21 property‑owner responses and 17 business‑owner responses — 38 total — with a Feb. 15 return deadline.
Larry, who leads the strategic plan committee, said staff will disseminate the final results by email after Carissa compiles them, and the committee plans to meet before the next BID meeting to discuss short‑ and long‑term priorities, potential partnerships and funding options.
Chris, who oversees the survey effort, said there are about 100 recipients total and that he will make a final outreach push before the deadline. Board members encouraged outreach to improve the response rate and said the survey results will guide committee recommendations on which projects the BID should prioritize and how to finance them.
The committee’s work will inform future BID agenda items and possible grant or partnership efforts.
