District proposes streamlined travel policy; procedures to follow before adoption

One board member noted the policy should align to the district's learning goals and the superintendent said staff will ensure procedures reflect the policy's priorities. Swenson said staff would bring procedure language and clarifications (including philosophical items the board may wish to address) in a May meeting ahead of the school year.
