Votes at a glance: Historical Commission approves multiple certificates of appropriateness and finds no adverse impacts

- 38 Washington Road — The commission approved a COA for south-facing solar-panel installation with conditions noted during discussion: conduit routing must meet the commission’s visibility guidance (applicant indicated the conduit will run through the attic where possible and meter/connection equipment should be located at the rear of the house). Motion approved; staff advised the applicant to return if routing or meter location changes.

- 95 W 8 Street (repair at 95 Elliott/95 W 8) — The commission approved a repair and in-kind repainting of an entry post; applicant said the replacement post will match profile and paint color. Motion approved.

- 122/124/126 Main Street — The commission found no adverse impact for awning replacement, light replacement (to LED) and repainting of storefront façades; commission clarified the record to combine related addresses into a single application folder and voted to find no adverse impact.

- 32 Henry Street (nonprofit ownership) — The commission reviewed a repair-only application for a locally owned nonprofit building and voted that the proposed repairs and repainting will have no adverse impact; commissioners praised the applicant for building rehabilitation meant to serve families.

- Continuances — Several items (including an application related to 1303 / parking matters) were continued to the March 6 meeting as requested by applicants or staff.
