The St. Louis City Board of Aldermen Personnel and Administration Committee approved on Feb. 6, 2025, a contract of up to $9,115 for upgraded interior window treatments covering 58 windows in Board of Aldermen spaces, including the Chambers and the Kennedy Room.
Director Angracia, who presented the item, told the committee there was “a bid for 58 interior windows in all the Board of Aldermen spaces … from Total Tempting for upgraded window treatments, for $9,115.” Committee members had no questions before a motion to approve was called and seconded. The motion carried with three aye votes.
The action was framed as part of broader “upgrades and modernization and renovations to the Board of Aldermen,” Angracia said. Committee members clarified that any expenditure above the approved $9,115 would require returning to the committee for additional approval.
There were no board bills or resolutions before the committee at the start of the meeting; the window-treatment contract was the only substantive committee discussion. Committee leadership also announced the Personnel Committee will discuss the Board’s budget for the next fiscal year at a meeting expected the following week.
The committee adjourned after the vote.
