At the open public forum Harold Wilson invited residents to Kentucky Wesleyan College’s upcoming baseball games and announced a halftime program that will include a T‑ball celebration marking 50 years of the sport. Wilson said families and children who played T‑ball benefit from early team experience and invited former players to Gate 4 for free admission at the event.
Wilson said the college men’s game is scheduled for Saturday and that the program will include singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” ceremonial t‑ball throws and a family-friendly halftime presentation. He encouraged residents to attend and to support youth recreation programs.
Wilson also praised parks and recreation staff for recent work and noted summer programs will soon be underway.
