District staff asked the Glynn County Board of Education to consider renewing the Naviance college- and career-readiness platform for grades 6–12, using federal Title IV-A funds.
Miss Haywood told the board the renewal cost is $53,611.54 and covers all four middle schools and the district’s high schools including the Golden House College and Career Academy; Haywood said the district has used the platform for the last four years. She told board members the price represented about a $1,000 increase from the prior year.
No motion or vote was recorded during the work session; staff requested that the board consider moving forward with the renewal and took no further questions.
