Kingsburg Healthcare District grant cycle opens; city seeks input on project proposals

Community Services Director Adam Casaneda said the district’s annual grant cycle opens in January and that applications are due May 1; the district reviews applications in June. The city has partnered with the healthcare district on multiple projects since 2017, the staff report said.
Casasenda (sic) asked council members to identify potential projects or priorities so staff and other department heads can compile a proposed list and return to council within the month for approval of which applications the city should submit.
Staff mentioned possible items under consideration by the Community Services Commission, including potential upgrades to Memorial Park and work on the dog park and phases of Atholl Park. No public comments were offered on the item at the meeting.
