The Milford Planning Board voted on Feb. 4 to send a cleaned, non-redline draft of its Rules and Procedures to a public hearing scheduled for Feb. 18.
Board members reviewed formatting changes and minor edits: gender-neutral titles ("chair" rather than "chairman"), rejoining a misformatted section under conduct of the meeting, and removing typographical numbering anomalies. The chair noted the draft will be publicly posted and that the hearing is intended to give residents an opportunity to comment before the regulations are finalized.
A motion to send the rules and procedures to a public hearing on Feb. 18 was made on the record, seconded and carried. The board asked staff to publish the required advertisement in the Milford Cabinet and to place the item on the agenda for the Feb. 18 meeting so the public may comment.
The board directed that further editorial changes not be made at the hearing itself beyond corrections identified by the public or staff. If revisions are proposed after the hearing the board will consider them at a later meeting.
Action: send Planning Board Rules and Procedures to a public hearing on Feb. 18 with standard advertisement timelines; motion carried.
