PLAISTOW, N.H. — At their Jan. 27 meeting the Plaistow Board of Selectmen approved the consent agenda and voted to approve and seal two sets of nonpublic minutes.
The consent agenda, which the board approved by voice vote, included three licenses to operate salvage yards (Chaya Brothers Auto Salvage; 603 Auto Salvage; Brandy Brow Auto Parts Inc.) and a commitment letter for highway hazardous-waste work with Hampstead. A motion to approve the consent agenda received a second and passed by the board; the recording indicated a unanimous vote in favor (5-0-0).
The board also moved to approve and seal nonpublic minutes from the Jan. 13 session; the motion was seconded and passed with a tally of 4 yes, 0 no, 1 abstention. A subsequent motion to approve and seal minutes from Jan. 15, 2025 (session 2) likewise passed 4-0-1.
