Commission approves replat to combine two lots for Washington View auto-sales addition

The Grand Forks Planning & Zoning Commission on Feb. 5 approved a simple replat that combines two existing lots at 3225 and 3311 South Washington into a single lot named Washington View First Resubdivision to allow construction of a building addition for the on-site auto sales operation.
Planning staff explained that the two lots are separate under current legal descriptions and the proposed combined lot will eliminate a lot line that otherwise would be crossed by the addition. Miss Johnson, planning staff, recommended approval.
No members of the public spoke during the required hearing. Commissioner Reichert moved approval; Commissioner Sandy seconded. The commission voted unanimously to approve the replat.
