ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — The Public Works and Protection Committee on Feb. 4 approved a temporary premise-extension request for Village Liquor and Wine to use adjacent suites and an outdoor trailer for additional alcohol storage from March 1 through June 1.
Staff said the extension is for storage only; the business will not sell from the additional spaces. The applicant was not present. Public-safety staff told the committee it had no objection to the storage request but cautioned that a refrigerated trailer could generate noise and prompt neighbor complaints.
A committee member made a motion to approve the temporary premises extension; the motion passed on a voice vote. Staff will process the extension with the clerk and public-safety guidance about any refrigeration and noise management plans.
