Library Director Lisa Miceli told the board the library’s 2024 PEG/PHIRA award had covered three‑quarters of PC replacements and that the new request would cover 2025 replacements and carryover items that municipal applicants received smaller awards for in the prior round. The board moved and seconded the authorization and approved the application by voice vote.
The motion authorized Town Manager Mark Nelson and Library Director Lisa Miceli to execute the grant application and, if awarded, accept the funds and return to the Board of Finance with a recommended appropriation. No dollar amount for a successful award was specified in the discussion.
