He also said the house, septic tank and parking are within a 100-foot setback from the property to the north.
The applicant will clear a small area of roughly 670 square feet along the north property line for grading and to allow mowing around the house, Denham said. Commission members noted staff will monitor invasive species; staff provided the applicant a pamphlet describing common invasive plants and encouraged removal if they are found.
The approval carries the conditions spelled out in the staff report, including installation and maintenance of erosion- and sediment-control measures for the duration of construction.
