At its Feb. 5 meeting the Hamilton County Commission approved a series of resolutions on appointments, property conveyances, grants, contracts and road acceptances. The following is a concise list of the items taken and the recorded outcome.
- Resolution 2-25-1 — Approve acceptance of applications, bonds and oaths for notary publics and oaths of deputy sheriffs. Outcome: approved by roll call.
- Resolution 2-25-2 — Reappoint two members to the Hamilton County Agricultural Extension Committee for terms 02/05/2025–02/05/2027 (Melanie Osborne and Chuck Pruitt). Outcome: approved by roll call.
- Resolution 2-25-3 — Appoint Alexa LaBeouf to the Chattanooga Land Bank Authority board for a four-year term (02/05/2025–02/05/2029). Outcome: approved by roll call.
- Resolution 2-25-4 — Recognize Signal Mountain High School’s 2024 TSSAA state cross-country championship and award funds from the Hamilton County Schools Champions Fund for championship rings. Outcome: approved by roll call.
