The Saint Clair County Judiciary & Public Safety Committee moved three grant items to the full board: a public safety awareness and training funds application for central dispatch, a Marine Safety Grant Program application, and the National Criminal History Improvement Program (NCHIP) grant for District Court. The NCHIP item was considered final action and was approved by roll call.
Committee members voted to move the first two grant applications to the full board on voice votes. For the NCHIP application the committee made a motion for final action, which was seconded. A roll call recorded unanimous affirmative votes: Commissioner Angie, Commissioner Beaton, Commissioner Trello, Commissioner Samasco, Commissioner Felix, Commissioner Rushing and Commissioner VandenBaugh all voted yes and the motion carried.
No dollar amounts for the grant applications were stated on the committee record; materials were forwarded for full-board consideration.
