The Chester County Salary Board approved a new staff position, 10 position changes and five position inactivations during a short meeting Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Chair Josh Maxwell, Commissioners Marion Moskowitz and Eric Roe and Controller Margaret Reif approved the personnel actions by unanimous voice votes. The board also approved the Jan. 6 meeting minutes and adopted the meeting agenda earlier in the session.
Board members moved and seconded each item without extended discussion. The transcript records voice votes of “aye” on the minutes, the agenda, the single new position, the 10 position changes and the five inactivations; no opposing votes were recorded on any action. The record does not supply job titles, departments, or other detail about the new position, the specific position changes or which positions were inactivated.
