Council authorizes short-term allocation for Meals on Wheels to cover June operations

Staff said this emergency action is intended to ensure Meals on Wheels can operate through June while longer-term funding sources are finalized. The motion directed the city attorney and budget staff to execute the appropriation so the program would be able to operate for the month.
No amendments or programmatic conditions were recorded on the floor; councilmembers emphasized urgency to fund the service for June.
