The Englewood City Cultural Arts Commission on Tuesday reviewed proposed artwork concepts for three bridge gateways on Santa Fe Street and was told the city does not own the bridges, so installations will require permitting from the Colorado Department of Transportation and the railroad and possibly RTD.
The commission’s communications director, Chris Harguth, gave an update and said, “we do not own the bridges, which is going to probably complicate, the permitting a little bit,” and that staff will pursue permits now while weather delays installations.
