The Redevelopment Agency of Tooele City voted 5-0 Wednesday to renumber RDA Resolution 2024-06 to RDA Resolution 2024-07 after staff discovered the original number duplicated an existing resolution.
Board Member Manzio said the change was procedural and tied to an earlier action on the Denny’s parking lot. “When our resolution 2024-06 was filed, it was noticed that we already had a resolution 06. So we need to renumber resolution 2024-06 to resolution 2024-07. And that’s the resolution we passed in regards to the Denny’s parking lot,” Manzio said.
Board Member Hanson moved to approve the renumbering and rescind RDA Resolution 2024-03 as part of the motion; Board Member Brady seconded. The five members present — McCall, Hanson, Brady, Gochis and Manzio — each voted “aye.” The chair announced the motion passed 5-0 and adjourned the RDA meeting.
Agency staff said the action was clerical: correcting the resolution number to avoid duplication and to align the official record with the previously approved item concerning the Denny’s parking lot. No additional discussion, public commentary, or changes to the substance of the original Denny’s-related resolution were recorded in the meeting minutes.
The RDA met at Tooele City Hall Council Chambers, 90 North Main, and had one item on its agenda. The meeting was brief; after the roll call and the renumbering motion, members voted and adjourned.
