House introduces eight bills and adopts joint resolution on adjournment

Each bill was given a first reading on the floor and then referred to the committee named above; no committee debates or floor amendments were recorded for these items during this session.
The chamber then took up Joint Senate Resolution 10 (JRS 10), described on the floor as a resolution "that when the 2 houses adjourn on Friday, 02/07/2025, it be to meet again no later than Tuesday, 02/11/2025." The clerk asked, "Shall the house adopt the resolution in concurrence?" The body voted by voice; "the ayes appear to have it," the presiding officer said, and the resolution "is adopted in concurrence."
Because the eight bills were only read for the first time, action at this session consisted of referral to committees. JRS 10 was adopted by concurrence via voice vote.
