Watertown students honored for spelling-bee performance during board meeting

Board members and several parents in the audience thanked the students and organizers. Mrs. Nierbin noted the event's winner, Lucas (a sixth grader), had also won as a fifth grader and that the 24 qualifiers represented the top spellers from the district's schools.
