Stow City ships more than 1,600 knitted squares to Warm Up America after community build

Warm Up America distributes the assembled blankets to homeless shelters, foster-care homes, NICUs, hospices and any qualifying nonprofit that requests them. Commission members said the organization accepts ready-made blankets and shawls directly as well.
What’s next: members discussed repeating the drive in 2025 and suggested a spring-to-summer outreach that includes farmers’ markets and schools; organizers said the project could run annually or every other year depending on volunteer capacity.
