Commission approves two consent items, tables one requested by applicant

At the Feb. 4 Deerfield Beach City Commission meeting the consent agenda included items 3 through 5. Staff reported that item 4 needed to be tabled because the applicant could no longer host the event as proposed.
There were no pulls from the dais on items 3 and 5. After public comment on item 3 (reappointment to the Fire Pension Retirement Board) and item 5 (a resolution related to special events associated with Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort), Commissioners moved to approve items 3 and 5 together. Motion to approve those consent items was made by Commissioner Hudak and seconded by Commissioner Parnas. Roll-call votes were unanimous in favor.
Separately, Commissioner Preston moved to table item 4 at the manager's request; Commissioner Hudak seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The commission recorded no further action on those items beyond approval of items 3 and 5 and tabling of item 4.
