At the start of the meeting the board moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. The board chair said, “I looked over the minutes. Everything seemed in order. So unless somebody has a correction or a statement, I'd like to call for approval of the minutes. I'll make a motion that we approve.” A member seconded and the chair called the vote; the motion carried with voice votes.
The chair also said he has served as chair for more than 10 years and would like to step down from the chair position sometime this year and proposed creating a vice‑chair role to provide continuity when the chair is absent. The board agreed to defer any appointment until the other members could attend and speak to the proposal.
At the end of the session the chair moved to adjourn; a member seconded and the board voted by voice to adjourn. No other formal actions were taken.
