The settlement amount is $95,000," the city attorney reported after executive session.
A motion to approve the settlement was moved and seconded on the council floor. The clerk recorded a roll-call vote with all councilmembers voting yes: Vice President Zirlingo — yes; Council Member Mary Fossey — yes; Council Member Bader — yes; Council Member Rhine — yes; Council Member Vogley — yes; Council Member Tuohy — yes; President Schwab — yes. The motion passed and the mayor was authorized to execute the settlement agreement.
The council made no further public comment on the settlement terms at the meeting; the city attorney indicated there had been no council action on the real-estate matter discussed earlier and that action was planned on one of the legal matters addressed in executive session.
