Daytona Beach — The Daytona Beach City Commission received an overview Feb. 5 of a contracted evaluation and appraisal report that updates the city’s comprehensive plan to meet state requirements and reflect local changes.
Blair Knighting of Kimley‑Horn and Associates told the commission the firm reviewed the plan for statutory compliance since 2016, updated required maps, and consolidated the conservation and coastal management elements into a single element to reduce redundancy.
