The Hinsdale Historic Preservation Commission on Wednesday, Feb. 5, approved two sign-permit reviews and approved the minutes of its Jan. 14 meeting, clearing applicants to proceed with minor storefront signage changes.
The approvals came after brief presentations by commercial applicants and a roll-call vote in which all present commissioners voted in favor. There were no public comments during the meeting.
An applicant representative for Coldwell Banker Realty/Don McKenna Group told commissioners the proposal for 8 East Hinsdale Avenue is a “minor decal signage change” that would not affect the historic structure. “We are removing our logo from the awning and in turn, we're adding 2 decals in each window,” the representative said.
