Indian Prairie board approves resolution endorsing Vision 2,030 for Illinois public schools

The Indian Prairie School District 204 Board of Education voted to approve a resolution endorsing Vision 2,030, a statewide K–12 education blueprint that calls for future-focused learning, shared accountability and predictable funding.

Vision 2,030 presenters said the plan emphasizes three broad priorities — future-focused learning, shared accountability and predictable funding — and asks local boards and communities to advocate with state lawmakers for changes such as expanded dual-credit opportunities, revisions to the accountability system that weigh growth and proficiency differently, and steady reinvestment in the state evidence-based funding (EBF) formula.
