TUMWATER, Wash. — The Tumwater City Council approved its consent calendar on Feb. 4, adopting a citywide fee resolution and authorizing several administrative items, Mayor Debbie Sullivan said at the meeting.
The council adopted Resolution R2025-002, the city’s 2025 fee resolution; authorized a grant amendment with the Washington State Department of Ecology for the Beehive Industrial Area stormwater retrofit design project; approved payment vouchers and the minutes from recent meetings; and reappointed Trent Guntham, Alex Cohen and Broderick Covell to the tree board.
The consent calendar was moved by Council member Kelly Vonholtz and seconded by Council member Michael Althauser. Mayor Debbie Sullivan called for the voice vote and the motion carried without recorded opposition.
The fee resolution sets city charges for services and permits for 2025, as presented to the council in the consent packet; the grant amendment with the Department of Ecology covers further design work on the Beehive Industrial Area stormwater retrofit project. Details about the specific amendment amount and contract terms were listed in the council staff packet and were not read into the public record at the meeting.
