House Management committee quickly approves recognition resolutions for schools, officers and nonprofit

Later in the session Richardson, speaking in the absence of Representative Shepherd, presented House Resolution 1020, saying the resolution is "to recognize on February 3 the Links Legislative Day at the state capitol and to recognize the Links Incorporated for its service and contributions to its chapter communities and to the state of Arkansas." He closed his presentation and the committee approved the resolution by voice vote.
Representative Randy Torres presented House Resolution 1019 to recognize awards described in the presentation as a "volunteer community of the year award and the most innovative city award by Engage Arkansas and Arkansas Business." The transcript did not specify the named community or city. Representative Allen moved that the resolution "do pass," and the motion received a voice vote in favor.
