The Cheyenne Finance Committee voted to recommend a contract modification with the Wyoming Department of Health Aging Division to increase Title 3-B transportation program funding by $10,192 for fiscal year 2025.
Craig Bloy, public works, said the modification is revenue-positive for the city: the Department of Health awarded an additional $10,192 for the grant program, and Bloy recommended the committee approve the modification.
Erin Johnson, introduced as the new transit director for the Cheyenne Transportation Program, said she is still learning the program's details but that the city will administer the additional funds for transportation support services serving people age 60 and older.
Moved by Mr. Roybal and seconded by Mr. Escobel, the committee approved the recommendation by voice vote. The transcript records the voice vote but does not provide a numerical roll call. The recommendation will move to the full city council for final approval as part of the next meeting agenda.
