The motion to come out of executive session and reconvene the meeting was moved by Commissioner Richards and seconded by Commissioner Slaughter. After the second, a voice vote was taken: “Aye,” was called, followed by a prompt for any opposed votes and the statement that the meeting was out of executive session.
A staff member noted that “after coming out, there is no action that needs to be taken this morning,” and the commissioners concluded the day’s business.
The exchange was procedural: the commissioners moved to end closed deliberations, recorded the voice vote, and adjourned without further motions or votes recorded during the public meeting.
