The Madison County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 3 voted to postpone a planning and zoning item and to reschedule public hearings caused by earlier weather delays.
A motion was made to move the planning and zoning allocation item to the Planning Commission public hearing on Feb. 18 and to the VOC public hearing on March 3. The motion was made by Commissioner Doster and seconded by Commissioner Chandler; the chair called the vote and the item was moved for re-advertising and rescheduling.
The board noted the delay was weather-related and that staff had no current recommendations other than to set new hearing dates. The chair and commissioners agreed to advertise the rescheduled hearings. No additional substantive debate was recorded on the item.
The board proceeded to other business after confirming the new public-hearing dates.
