Council authorizes IT director to use state DES/CDW contract for Duo MFA purchases

Endicott said the original contract had expired and the requested authorization allows the IT director to purchase through the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services contract with CDW Government LLC “if those purchases are within the city's established budgets” and while the state contract remains in effect (the state contract noted as effective through April 24, 2027, or any later extension).
Councilmember motioned, the motion was seconded and the committee voted in favor. The motion passed without recorded opposition.
No substantive debate followed the presentation; councilmembers characterized the technology as familiar and routine.
