On the concurrence calendar, Senate Bill 13 (property tax reimbursement amendments) passed on a roll call that the clerk recorded as 29 yeas, 0 nays. First substitute Senate Bill 18 (election fundraising amendments) likewise passed 29-0 after the sponsor described House changes that barred registered state lobbyists from contributing to federal campaigns during the legislative session.
Other bills the Senate passed or acted on include technical code cleanup (Senate Bill 79, 29-0), a restaurant tax revision substitute (Senate Bill 91 first substitute recommended by committee), motor-vehicle and land-use introductions, and a set of committee-recommended tax, education and public-safety measures placed in committee for further work.
