The Huntersville Board of Commissioners on Feb. 4 unanimously adopted an ordinance approving a voluntary contiguous annexation of 15.677 acres for the Courtyards at Walters Farm, the town manager’s office said during the meeting.
Town staff presented the annexation petition and noted the property is related to a rezoning the board approved in October 2023. The parcels will be brought into town limits under the approved ordinance. The board motion to adopt the annexation ordinance carried unanimously.
No additional public testimony or conditions were reported at the meeting on the annexation item.
