Terms and costs: the easement would be perpetual and permit general public ingress and egress and trail construction, installation and maintenance. Staff told the board there is no funding request to the school board; a standard $10 consideration will be recorded in the deed per local practice.
Next steps: the acting superintendent recommended the school board review the request and be prepared to vote on the easement at the Feb. 18 meeting.
