Marvin presented the request on behalf of the treasurer and said Treasurer staff included the cost in the office budget. Commissioners asked whether the county was under a long-term contract with the incumbent vendor; staff said the existing arrangement appears to be year-to-year. A motion to approve the purchase was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
County staff did not provide a detailed multi-year cost comparison at the meeting. The board asked staff to ensure continuity of existing data and to confirm cancellation terms with the incumbent vendor before finalizing the purchase.
