GREEN TREE, Pa. — The Green Tree Borough Council on Feb. 3 reappointed Victoria Swindle to the borough library board and appointed Rebecca Chambers and Caitlin Kadeem to three-year terms ending Jan. 31, 2027.
Council President Miss Miller read the library board’s recommendations, which followed a public application and interview process. The board told council that multiple residents applied, some withdrew during the vetting, and the library president met with candidates before inviting finalists to an open meeting to observe board proceedings and ask questions.
Council reappointed Swindle and approved the two new appointments by voice vote. Council members recorded that Swindle will continue to serve as the library board’s president; the board will vote on internal leadership at its next meeting.
Miss Miller said she will prepare the formal resolution to record the appointments in the council’s minutes. The newly appointed members will be listed on the borough roster and begin their terms immediately under the library board’s recommendation.
