College Place staff recommend awarding $15,000 in community grants to downtown group, YMCA and others

Rosatello said the panel totaled scores from advisory commissioners to reach the recommendation.
The recommendation was presented for discussion only; staff said a resolution will come forward at a future council meeting to finalize awards. Council members asked about one applicant — College Place High School — which had applied but, per council discussion, may have submitted an unclear application entry on staff wages/overtime. Council members asked staff to review the scoring and follow up with the school to clarify its application before final awards are adopted.
