County staff: Magnolia Oil plans encased pipeline across Sandtown Road in Precinct 4

Mr. Stoltz, county staff, said the work would place two encased lines across Sandtown Road near 15365 Sandtown Road, roughly three-fourths of a mile east of the Catheter Road intersection. “What we're going to be looking at here is actually going to be 2 particular installations across this particular alignment, 1 of which is going to be a 6 inch oil transmission line or transmission line, it is going to be a 4 inch gas,” Mr. Stoltz said. He told the court the pipes would be encased in steel from right-of-way to right-of-way and would meet the county’s four-foot minimum cover and other requirements.
Mr. Stoltz recommended approval; the transcript records no formal motion or roll-call vote recorded on the item. No commissioner raised objections during the discussion.
