Beaver County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 23 approved an omnibus motion adopting resolutions numbered 012325-01 through 012325-27, voted to pay county bills and ratified the Jan. 8 and Jan. 19 meeting minutes.
The board opened with an invocation by Miss Bart Bufi and the Pledge of Allegiance. Solicitor Morgan told the board that he had reviewed the packet of resolutions and recommended their approval. A motion was made and seconded to adopt the resolutions as presented. The presiding officer called for the vote and, by voice, members answered “aye.” “Motion carried,” the presiding officer said.
Board members also moved and seconded the routine items on the agenda: approval of the Jan. 19 public meeting minutes and the Jan. 8 work session minutes, and a motion to pay the county bills. Each motion was approved by voice vote with no recorded roll-call in the meeting transcript. There was no substantive public comment on agenda items and no debate recorded on the resolutions or the bills.
The meeting closed after a motion to adjourn was carried. No further calendar dates or follow-up tasks were announced in the recorded exchange.
