Council elects Marsha White as chair and Rich Hyer as vice chair

A roll‑call vote recorded unanimous support from the council and White was sworn in. Councilmember Blair nominated Councilmember Rich Hyer as vice chair, a nomination seconded by another member; the council approved the nomination by roll call and Hyer was sworn in.
Councilmembers and the mayor offered brief remarks thanking outgoing leadership and welcoming the new chair and vice chair. The oath of office was administered at the meeting and both officers took their seats for the remainder of the session.
