The resolution said funds for a purchase would come from interest earned on ARP funds.
The resolution was introduced by County Attorney/Staff (Daniel Murphy) in committee and was moved onto the full agenda. Commissioner Dave Bridal moved the resolution on the floor; Commissioner Eric Pravetti seconded the motion. A motion by Commissioner Sumner to require an independent appraisal before any offer — seconded by Commissioner Pravetti — failed to receive the two-thirds support needed to amend the measure.
